| BACKGROUND The idea for this conference stems from a Presidents’ Round Table held by our IFC in March, 1998. During that time, the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity was in the process of colonizing at the University of Alberta. One of the Expansion Consultants made some comments on the state of the Greek system at the University of Alberta. Many of his comments were based on a strictly American point of view. There was a need for us, as members of Canadian Chapters to develop a network system of our own, like those found in the different regions of the United States. And so came into being the 1st Annual Canadian InterGreek Conference. You do not have to be Greek to come: it is an opportunity to find out more about the Greek system in Canada! It is also open to both undergraduate and alumni. There will be both combined and seperate sessions for undergraduate and alumni.
