Share your knowledge - Facilitators Wanted

Facilitators can range from workshops facilitated by International volunteers, fraternity/sorority staff members and campus advisors, to roundtable's led by collegiate officers. We value your expertise and encourage you to apply for a faculty position.

What we look for: Programming for all of the CIFC's fraternity and sorority members means providing sessions that cover topics of importance to all Greeks with keeping a Canadian viewpoint in mind. When creating your program, use a format appropriate for the topic, provide a purposeful handout to reinforce information presented and be sure to provide for interaction among your participants. The leaders attending CIFC come to our conference to get practical, useful ideas to help them meet their challenges, particularly those issues faced by Canadian chapters - international or local organizations.

If you are chosen: In an effort to keep conference registration fees affordable, no honoraria are awarded for workshop presentations. Facilitators will need to register for the conference and are responsible for hotel and transportation expenses. If you plan to co-present, all members of your presentation team must also register for the conference. If you are selected to present, you will receive a one-time $20.00 (CDN) reduction in your conference registration fee.

Submissions: Program proposals must be submitted by Friday, October 10, 2003. Facilitators will be notified of their program selection by Friday, October 17, 2003. If the program is selected, presenters should plan to arrive at the conference by Friday afternoon, November 7th, 2003 and remain through the closing brunch on Sunday morning, November 9th, 2003.
