Arrival by Air:
You can fly to Winnipeg International Airport (Canada's only
centrally located 24 hour airport), which has daily scheduled
flights from all parts of Canada and the United States. (Airport
code: YWG). We have listed several airlines that service Winnipeg
regularly. Other carriers also travel to Winnipeg, but please

Travel the TransCanada Highway or Interstate 29/Highway 75
to Winnipeg - see the below directions. All City map by Expedia

From the West (Calgary
Edmonton, Brandon, Vancouver)
From the TransCanada Highway 1, as you are about to enter
Winnipeg, turn right at TransCanada Highway 100 (Winnipeg
By-Pass). Follow TCH-100 around to the south end of the city.
Turn left (go north) at Pembina Highway (Route 42). Turn right
at Chancellor-Matheson Drive (gates to University), turn right
at University Crescent, then turn left at Dafoe. Follow Dafoe
to Drake Building. To go to Holiday Day Inn Winnipeg South,
continue north on Route 42 (Pembina Highway) for 10 minutes
- will be on the northbound side.
From the East (Thunder
Bay, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal)
Take the TransCanada westbound, and go south at TransCanada
Highway 100 (Winnipeg By-Pass). Follow TCH-100 around to the
south end of the city. Turn right (go north) at Pembina Highway
(Route 42). Turn right at Chancellor-Matheson Drive (gates
to University), turn right at University Crescent, then turn
left at Dafoe. Follow Dafoe to Drake Building. To go to Holiday
Day Inn Winnipeg South, continue north on Route 42 (Pembina
Highway) for 10 minutes - will be on the northbound side.
From Grand Forks, North
Dakota (140 mi - 2.5 hours)
Take I-29 north, which becomes Manitoba Highway 75 at the
Pembina Border Crossing. After entering Winnipeg (about 1.7
miles), Highway 75 becomes Route 42 (Pembina Highway). Turn
right at Chancellor-Matheson Drive (gates to University),
turn right at University Crescent, then turn left at Dafoe.
Follow Dafoe to Drake Building.
