About this site

Canadians Go Greek! was created in electronic form by Symbiotic Ideas in September '98 as the result of lengthy research spanning two years on the subject of Canadian Greeks. Bairds Manual of American College Fraternities was consulted (20th ed. 1991). Where applicable, source information was taken from websites, chapter members, IHQ personnel as well as fraternity manuals. The Collegian members of SC, AGD and DFE have been particularly helpful. KAQ IHQ was a good resource.

Thanks Scott Bates for useful DTD information and general NIC knowledge. Thanks Chris Pehlke for WLU Greeks info and for researching influential Canadian Greeks including Prime Ministers Mackenzie King, Pearson, and Turner. Thank you Shala Berry for AOP information, general NPC knowledge and beta testing.

The official language of CGG! is English. Despite the bilingualism of our fair country, the overwhelming majority of our Greek organizations are English only. Furthermore, Greeklife is only supported (thus far) on English-speaking campuses in Canada. There are no plans to provide CGG! content in both French and English at this time.

All CGG! images were created using Adobe Illustrator™, Photoshop™, Macromedia Flash™ and Director™. Images were optimized using Macromedia Fireworks™. The fonts used for the banner images are Arial, Arial Black and a licensed copy of Marydale (created by Brian Willson of Three Island Press).

guestGEAR™ guestbook services are provided FREE by Lycos htmlGEAR. For your own free guestbook visit http://htmlgear.lycos.com to sign up.
